Guiguzi is a Support hero in Honor of Kings.
Background[]
Knowledge is endless. The scholar Guiguzi was attracted by the secrets of the forest's origin and became a member of the Order of the Seers. Over the years, he researched nature and the Wonders and passed on his discoveries to the next generation of Seers. However, the more he learned, the more anxious he became... Eventually, he decided to leave the Order and start anew in nature. He firmly believes that a new truth is out there somewhere.
Lore[]
For a long time, legends of a Heavenly Tree have been told in the Misty Marshes. They reached the ears of a scholar, Guiguzi, who grew curious about the legend.
A simple man, he had an interest in all natural phenomena. So, he set off into the depths of the marshes alone, in search of the roots of that tree.
He found something strange—a dazzling light emanating from inside the tree. When he awoke, he discovered his appearance had changed. It was as if time had turned back and made him young again.
Any other resident of the forest would have been terrified or angered. But Guiguzi was excited and fascinated. He was mesmerized by this strange light. He swore to dedicate his life to discovering the truth behind the mystery. When he went back to the surface, he discovered disaster had struck the forest. The Sky Dome was shattered, and the forest ravaged by war. To protect the Sky Dome, the nine Seers had disappeared into the mist. The Order of the Seers took over the mission of protecting the Sky Dome and the Heavenly Tree.
To continue his research, Guiguzi joined the Order of the Seers, where he learned of the Wonder they concealed.
He was baffled by the fragments of the past he saw within the Wonder... Shattered statues, a desolate ravine, and a scorched land covered by the Sky Dome. Nothing he saw matched up with what he already knew. But from amidst it all he made out a mysterious voice: nature's whisper.
It seemed like sorcery, yet it was not. It was so faint it could barely be heard, yet still pure and profound.
Guiguzi told himself that he still lacked knowledge. Amidst his doubts, he then threw himself into his research. After many years, he became an erudite scholar, known for his knowledge and wisdom. When the Order of the Seers founded their school, his understanding and passion for the natural world made him the most popular of all the teachers.
But he always wore a mask to conceal his true face, and spoke with a reserved voice as far as possible. A classroom should be a dignified place, after all. The students, however, found the mask much more amusing than Guiguzi realized. They made bets on what might finally force their teacher to remove his mask. Even his most power-hungry student couldn't resist joining the discussions at times.
That student was blessed with great talent and a precise mastery of power that showed itself at a very young age. His love of knowledge could even match up with his teacher, who was often deeply impressed by his thought-provoking questions. The two spent their days researching aeramber and studying the Sky Dome. They marched forward together in their quest for knowledge, becoming ever more engrossed.
Until war came again, as it had centuries before.
But this time, Guiguzi saw firsthand how the Sky Dome shattered. He saw how the forest life suffered and burned. He saw calamity befalling his students yet was unable to save them. Everything he had seen in the Wonder came true before his own eyes. His doubts about the extent of his own knowledge were confirmed. Finally, Guiguzi challenged the Order of the Seers and called their years of research, their knowledge, and their beliefs into question.
But it was too late.
The stubborn Order refused to budge, and Guiguzi watched as his beloved student was led astray. He had no choice but to leave them and search for a new path.
For a long time, he lived under the trees by the riverside and explored the deserted swamps, just as he had in his youth. As he traversed alone, the spriteflies circling his staff seemed to glow brighter.
The spriteflies grew closer to the scholarly Guiguzi and led him onwards into the darkest corners of the Misty Marshes, where he heard that whisper once again. It seemed like sorcery, yet it was not. It was so faint it could barely be heard, yet still pure and profound.
This time Guiguzi understood it was neither the voice of a Wonder nor a deity. Neither was it confined to the forest in which he stood. It was something not influenced by any power—something uncontrollable. Something not in need of protection.
It was summoning him to seek out a new truth. To travel beyond the Sky Dome over the Misty Marshes, to find a truer version of nature, an endless living world.
And so, for the first time, Guiguzi stepped out of the forest.
But one day, he knew he would return. With his own answers.
And on that day, the Misty Marshes would be reborn.
"Everything has a soul!"
Tales Old and New[]
At the top of Guiguzi's bookcase lies an old journal, holding tales nobody knows.
One day, as Yaria was looking for dream-laden leaves she had hidden, that journal somehow fell from its shelf.
Yaria had never been interested in her teacher's tedious studies. But the picture that fell from the journal did catch her eye.
There were ten people in the picture, but the only one she recognized was her teacher, Guiguzi. She glanced over the list of names and comments, skipping over many Seers: the talented rebel Donghuang, Augran, Dongjun, Shangui, the River Goddess Lady Xiang... Her eyes fell on the last on the list: Cirrus, the freest but...
Before she could finish reading, a noise outside distracted her.
"The Seer Cirrus has been spotted in Misty City!" A leaf sprite was floating toward her on the wind, curling itself up into a trumpet and broadcasting the news out loud.
That freest of the Seers?
Yaria ran off, a cloud of dust in her wake. She was not going to miss any excitement!
Guiguzi was not surprised to see his old journal lying on the table when he got home. He simply tidied it up, as usual.
One of the students in the picture, Cirrus, was once the freest child in the Misty Marshes.
Guiguzi had expected to one day see that child pass the trials as expected, and then go on to achieve great things with his new divine power.
But those powers only brought disaster, and in the end, he had been able to track down only a tiny part of divine power in the body of a small bird. And beside the bird lies a deer, an arrow deeply lodged in its body.
Guiguzi reconstructed the bird before it died and placed a seal on its divine power.
He had thought the bird would remember nothing of its earlier life and be happy in its new form—as happy as Yaria, whom the bird had protected through her reincarnation.
However, the power of the Seers had again become a new starting point. The spirit of the bird within Cirrus still dreamed of freedom, and Guiguzi's wayward pupil Donghuang took advantage of this, remaking his wings and returning him to the skies. The aeramber in his wings also unlocked the seal on his divine power, giving Cirrus the powers of a Seer once again.
But is that what the bird really wanted?
The young must always find their own path.
In old stories and new tales, thought Guiguzi, there are forest children in search of their own paths. And perhaps one of them would find a way to save the Misty Marshes before he could.
And then he thought of Yaria once again. What if she were to meet Cirrus? Would that be an old story or a new tale? The great scholar of the Misty Marshes would often find himself caught up in pondering great questions like that.
But in the end, he shook his head and placed his journal back in his bag.
The old, too, have their own paths to find.

Strategies[]
Know a nice synergy? Recommended items? Loadouts? Click here to add your strategy!
- Guiguzi's basic combo is Ult-1-2. Depending on the situation, he can use his enhanced Basic Attack's slow effect to help inflict subsequent crowd controls.
- Guiguzi's enables him to drag everything around him towards the center of the ability, therefore, as a Guiguzi player, it is more common to start in the mid lane, using your to drag all minions into one heap, making it easier for the mid laner to clear the first minion wave faster than the opponent, gaining an advantage.
- Recommendation Support Item for Guiguzi is the Crimson Shadow Howl which can let you initiate fight faster or chasing enemies, at the early game it's wise to use bushes to caught enemies off guard, at late game roam around and use Ult to periodically reveal enemy, when initiating a team fight make sure that your teammates are near, Heroes that synergize well with Guiguizi are the follow, Gao, Sima Yi, Marco Polo and Gan & Mo. My Skills combo on initiating a fight is the Ult-2-Flicker(Make sure that you timed the 2nd Skill Correctly) but if you're in a bush you can use 2nd(wait) then first then charge to enemies, make sure to pull the enemy carry.
