Dunefort is a city built upon the ruins of the Golden City, the ancient capital of Alsahraa. The Golden City was once a thriving kingdom in the desert, known for its wealth and prosperity. However, it was conquered by the Iron Riders from Chang'an, leading to the demise of the royal family.
The Iron Riders subsequently constructed Dunefort atop the ruins of the Golden City, a symbol of their dominance over the region. This act of desecration fueled the hatred and resentment of Prince of Lanling, the rightful heir to the Golden City throne. Witnessing his parents' tragic demise and the destruction of his homeland ignited a deep-seated desire for revenge within him.
The place was later ravaged by demon species. Incredibly, the Iron Riders managed to defend the fort with supremacy of warfare technique and experience, which seemed impossible at that time due to the ravaged environments and fear the demon caused. They were later forced to retreat to the Great Wall after the endless onslaughts.
