Diaochan is a Mage hero in Honor of Kings.

Background[]

To Diaochan, her beauty was both a gift of nature and the source of her misfortune. Hailing from the most powerful mercenary group in the world, her peerless beauty became a natural weapon of choice. As the dancer wandered the troubled world, in order to complete a mission, she had to pretend to reciprocate Lu Bu's affections. As had happened with so many others, Lu Bu paid for his love with his life. However, Diaochan longs for true freedom, and no one knows that her true desire lies hidden behind her mesmerizing dance.

Story[]

Mercenaries are common during chaotic times. And this is the story of a mercenary in a powerful group led by someone called "Dragon."

Diaochan was one of the few women in the group, flitting between different factions as the peerless dancer. When her body moved, she wove tender dreams that captivated everyone around her. She was the only one awake in these dreams, and she stole information or killed her targets as Dragon commanded. Diaochan told herself that the admiration and infatuation others showered her with were just dreams, and she must always stay awake if she wanted to survive in this world.

Diaochan's next order was to approach and kill Lu Bu, the Warlord. He was the crucial last obstacle in Dragon's journey to be free from his mercenary identity and become someone truly powerful. Diaochan gained Lu Bu's trust through her whispered words of false love, and the brutal warlord fell willingly into the beautiful dream she'd woven. On the eve of the fight against the mercenaries, it fell on her to keep Lu Bu's cup full. One of the many times she came over to fill it, Lu Bu held onto her wrist. "Just you wait. You will have the world on a platter tomorrow..." Was the brutal Warlord Lu Bu giving her his heart? Diaochan's joy and admiration almost fooled herself. Sincerity was useless when it came to survival.

The Crescent Halberd cut Lu Bu's hand, and his blood dripped into the cup. Dragon accepted this cup in the shadowed corner of a tent. "With this... sorcery, even the Warlord cannot stop me. Just you wait. Tomorrow..."

The sun rose and fell just the same, but things were different. The battlefield smelled faintly of fragrance as the silhouette of a woman darted through it. Not Diaochan the dancer, but Diaochan the scout, looking for her companions while the soldiers fled.

Were they dead? Were they... all dead? Was Lu Bu truly invincible? Were her tricks useless against his absolute power?

Diaochan infiltrated Cao Cao's camp, where Zilong, who lost his entire group of mercenaries, was bowing down to the new victor on the throne. Tears streamed silently down her face. "Who goes there?" The victor had sensed something. "Just an old friend." Loong got to his feet and extended his hand. Diaochan entered the tent with a smile. She belonged to the shadows, but she moved gracefully in the light. She was devastated, but she was beautiful in her devastation.

She must stay awake. She must stay awake in order to live. She must live so that she could see him one day. The mercenary group had crumbled to history, and defecting to Cao Cao's side was her only option. She must stay awake, and do away with all the unnecessary pain and compassion. It was her only way to stay alive, so that she could see him again... "Try not to fall in love with me..."

Explosion of Fragrance

Type: Passive

Applies stacks to the opponent. At max stacks, inflicts AoE damage and slow while restoring Health.

Returning Lotus

Type: Active skill

Sends out a lotus in a direction that returns to her when it reaches its max distance, damaging enemies in its path.

Petals in the Wind

Type: Active skill

Dashes in the target direction, during which she is untargetable. Launches orbs to attack nearby enemies, dealing damage and reducing the cooldown of Skill 2.

Flowery Potential

Type: Ultimate

Diaochan conjures up a magic circle around her, which lasts for a period oftime. While she is within the circle, the cooldowns of Skill 1 and Skill 2 aresped up. The circle deals damage to enemies within it when it is generatedand when it expires.

Diaochan can speed up the cooldowns of Skills 1 and Skills 2 when she's in her Ultimate's lotus circle. Use Skills 2 to avoid taking damage.
Diaochan as a strong character is the best for team fight but if you don't have a team do the Ult-2-1 combo. You can dive into tower to eliminate an enemy.
Diaochan's Skills 2 has the slight frame of time where she is untargetable. If used correctly, she is able to avoid getting hit by skills like Daji's Skills 2, Liang's Ultimate, or even hits from the tower.
